Essential Requirements:
 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent financial modelling and forecasting abilities
  • Ability to work with the Zoom camera open during shift

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst who will analyse our entire business to identify pain points and develop and implement a strategy.

Our Junior Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, analysing, and interpreting business problems and opportunities to improve organisational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They work closely with stakeholders across different departments to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to achieve business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Partner with the investment team to gather, analyse, and interpret market data, property valuations, and financial models to identify profitable investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to assess the viability and potential returns of property investments.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about current trends and industry benchmarks in the property investment landscape.
  • Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate complex financial information and investment recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations) to ensure alignment and integration of business processes related to property investments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline property investment analysis and decision-making.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to present insights and trends in an understandable format.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and best practices for property investment analysis.


Key Skills and Qualities:
 
  • Experience with market research methodologies and competitor analysis.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a background check as a condition of employment (a consent form will be provided to shortlisted candidates)
  • Willingness to provide an NBI clearance
